Healthcare Reform Debate Vote Looms
Of course, the healthcare debate has already begun in the House. It didn’t take long for some GOPers to squelch debate from the outset, but, overall, debate has been robust and civil. (A vote is expected in less than two hours.) Perhaps the most YouTubed episode from today’s events was the oratory given by Rep. Steve King (R-IA-5) who (famously) declared that “All Americans have health care”. Either he carries massive legislative denial with respect to the fate of almost 50 million Americans negotiating managed care in this country, or he is just plain in denial.
As we get closer to the vote Doctor Pundit will attempt to try out its first ever liveblogging tool.
