Just can’t get enough of Beyoncé. Not only is her latest musical offering from the underappreciated I Am…Sasha Fierce album (“Halo”) edging ever so close to the Billboard singles Top Ten this week, her latest flick, Obsessed, will finish atop the box office heap this weekend, beating out the heavily promoted Jamie Foxx-Robert Downey Jr. vehicle, The Soloist. Not that the latter is a bad movie by any means, but Sasha is on fire.
Heck, Beyoncé even realized that the much publicized prank involving a recent performance at Rockefeller Center in NYC for the “Today” show did not present even a modicum of hindrance for her current wave of success. You go, Girl!
Oh, and BTW, her video for “Halo” is this weekend’s official Music Club selection.
