Ohio Hospitals Work Together to Reduce Preventable Medical Error Rates

A calloborative effort among at least twenty Ohio hospitals to reduce the incidence of medical errors is proving to be a much easier task for those healthcare entities than going it alone. In the wake of news that preventable hospital errors in other states (like Minnesota) are on the rise in spite of the presence of programs to reduce their rate, the ability for hospitals across healthcare systems to share critical information is having a beneficial effect on keeping a lid on this potentially life-threatening issue for patients.
